Amy Winehouse Found Dead

Amy Winehouse
The extremely talented but troubled singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her Camden home on Saturday (July 23). The 27 year old Grammy award-winning soul singer, who said living dangerously generated her creativity, came to prominence with her hit single "Rehab". In the end it appears her problems with drug and alcohol addiction may have played a part in her death.

The New Zealand Herald reports that her death may have been brought about as a result of a combination of bad ecstasy, alcohol and her emphysema. They report that she was on a wild drinking session and ecstasy binge the night before and either one of or the combination lead to her death. The police haven't however released an official cause of death, which is being treated as unexplained for now.

Amy Winehouse won five Grammy awards off the back of her 2006 second album "Back to Black" and hit single "Rehab".
